ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE

We are a new group of LGBTQI+ people that fight to highlight and combat discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and gender characteristics in Greece

What are we currently doing:

  • Archive: We collect, digitize, and publish historical material related to the LGBTQ+ movement in Greece. At the moment, we are working on the magazine “Το Κράξιμο”.
  • Remembering our history: Campaign to highlight the history of the LGBTQI+ movement in Greece. Together we want to explore how it started, its obstacles and successes, but also to thank the people who fought for us.
  • Running a campaign to inform and highlight the proceedings of the trial for the murder of Zack Kostopoulos / Zackie Oh in the second degree.
  • Queerwatch: Campaign for the need to mobilize the LGBTQI+ community for the European elections, but also to highlight the candidates who have signed ILGA-Europe’s Come Out 4 Europe campaign pledge, to defend our rights in the European Parliament if elected.
  • We express our opinions and positions on LGBTQI+ right, mainly in the context of Greece.

Details Coming Soon

During this time, internal processes are underway at Prisma. As soon as we reach a satisfactory level of self-awareness, we commit to coming back with more details about who we are and what we do.
