COURT OF FIRST INSTANCE DECISION: The four police officers were acquitted. The jeweler and the realtor were convicted and sentenced to 10 years in prison each.
COURT OF APPEAL DECISION: The jeweler and the realtor were sentenced to 5 and 6 years in prison respectively.
